Madrid, April 26 (EFE). Lain Tech, dedicated to research and development of new technologies for solving complex industrial challenges in the raw materials and renewable energy sectors, has been awarded as the most innovative ‘start-up’ in the Community of Madrid at the Emprende XXI Awards.
The award received by Lain Tech includes a cash prize of 6,000 euros and access to an international training program. The awards are organized by CaixaBank, through DayOne, its division specialized in technology companies and their investors.
This year, in its sixteenth edition, 195 start-ups from the Community of Madrid applied, representing a 72% increase compared to the previous edition, as highlighted by CaixaBank in a statement.
The other finalists in the Madrid edition were Ienai Space, dedicated to electric mobility for satellites; HR Bot Factory, an Artificial Intelligence-based software that automates all information in Human Resources processes; Senniors, created to bring a long-term care model supported by intensive use of new technologies to the homes of the elderly; and Dcycle, offering a platform for any company to measure, improve, offset, and communicate its environmental impact easily, intelligently, and cost-effectively.
